Back a winner
For each fixture a creator picks who wins. In the group stage they can also call a draw.
One & Done
Once a team is backed, it’s spent for good — never pickable again, win or lose.
Climb the board
Correct picks score points. Braver the call, bigger the points. No one gets eliminated.
The rules
- Spend wisely. Ride Brazil on Matchday 1 and you’ve given them up for the knockouts. Hoard your big guns or cash them early — that’s the game.
- Draws are free. A correctly-called group-stage draw scores well and spends neither team.
- Skipping is allowed. No one has to pick every match — a skipped fixture just scores zero and spends nothing.
- Picks lock at kickoff, and results settle automatically once matches finish.
Scoring — braver the call, bigger the points
Backing a favourite earns a little; correctly backing an underdog earns a lot. A few examples:
